Season 1 : Anatomy of Modern Infrastructure: In order to master anything, you need to start from the basics. And that is why to master modern infrastructure, you should first understand the anatomy of modern infrastructure. And to understand that I present to you the framework called 10 factor infrastructure. And that is a benchmark for building secure, scalable and modern robust infrastructure that is agnostic of any provider.

Over the upcoming episodes, I will be taking you through the 10 factors in the framework with the best practices, designs and examples of some real life implementations that I did for some organisations to build a secure and scalable modern infrastructure. Although infrastructure has taken various shapes and forms from the bare metals to serverless, the core foundation remains pretty standard. And that is why I decided to share the 10 factor infra which has been my template of building robust modern infrastructure, be it on premise or cloud. So let's look at the 10 factors.

These factors are - network i.e connectivity across every part of infrastructure, system, data, Identity and Access, logging, monitoring, security, availability, disaster recovery, and environment on demand. Don't worry if it was too fast, because over the upcoming episodes, I will be taking you through each one of these factors, explaining the best design practices and examples of real implementations that help organisations build a secure and scalable infrastructure.

About You: Many of you might be wondering, is this show for me? Or Who's this show exactly about? So to answer all of your queries, this show is about everybody who is running their businesses online. Or even if you're not a business owner, if you are a user, and you are facing issues, or you are a developer, who has certain software that you have deployed, but you don't know why your software, which works perfectly fine in your machine, does not work on the cloud. So you know the common term, “it's it works in but it works in my machine, why doesn't it work in the production”. So this is basically for everybody who are either running their businesses online or are consuming services online. For instance, if you're a digital banking or a FinTech service provider, then this show will help you be audit ready to compliance and regulatory checkboxes. If you are a small or medium scale enterprise or business or startup and you are struggling to control your expenses with cloud infrastructure. This will show you or guide you through effective fin funnels without impacting your quality.
